Test run II
31 August 2009 in About the projectTest run two happened today, despite my muscles aching for the entire day! Managed to get the studio set up in about 20 minutes, which bodes extremely well.
This time I re-recorded “Different Colours”, which is a bit longer and more intricate. Managed to get it recorded, mixed and exported in 55 minutes. Of course I know these songs inside out, so they’re easier to record. I need to get on and write as much as possible in the next few days. I’ve set up a way of recording demo versions as I write, which means that when I’m happy with the songs, I’ll have a basic recording of them to listen to over and over again and make sure I know them as well as I can before the proper recording.
